I have many songs with which I associate, most of them because I hear the lyrics and picture a character from one of my stories that the lyrics work well with. But, there is one song that is completely mine.
This song has been my song since I was fourteen, and it still works perfectly to brighten, inspire, and encourage me each time I tune into its message. Somehow it always seems to come on the radio when I need it most (even when I don't feel like I do).

So the fist billion times I heard that song, I thought they were singing "Elephant, elephant will be alright." I thought it was totally awesome! How many people sing about elephants?
ReplyDeleteI told one of my friends I loved "the elephant song" and he looked excessively confused. When I sang it for him, he laughed for an hour.
Then he told me it was "everything, everything." Now, I can't hear anything but "everything" while each time he hears it, he hears "elephant."
It was cooler when it was about elephants.
That is freaking awesome! *laughs* Elephants -would- be better~!
